Doins' will be June 7th-9th at the Sonora Fairgrounds and the dedication will take place at Boone's Memorials Saturday June 8th at 9:18am & 49 seconds. What says the Bretheren?

Matuca 1849 Chili Cook-Off & Hawkers Faire

posted Feb 27, 2019, 12:31 PM by ECV Matuca   [ updated Jul 15, 2019, 8:51 AM ]

Attention all Clampers in good standing!

You are hereby invited to attend Clamper history in the making.  An experiment in bean-ocracy.  I ’m talking about the F.F.B. of 1849. The Fantastic Flatulent Brotherhood of Matuca 1st ever, possibly annual, possibly last, summer chili & bean cook-off and Hawkers fair.

Where you ask? At the Mother Lode Fairgrounds located in the beautiful gold rush town of Sonora, CA. Queen of the Southern Mines.

When you ask? Saturday August 10th 2019/6024.

Why you ask? Because Matuca has nothin’ to do in August.

This is an outdoor event but it will be held in the shade of the fabulous livestock area hay barn! Overnight camping is available for a chapter donation. Little Slippery will be flowing from opening til we’re done, probably about 3:00 pm. There will be a raffle and auction and all the frivolity and flatulence an asshole can take, and that could be stretching it.

Also, this is a once in a lifetime Clampurtunity to become a charter member of the Matuca F.F.A.. For a mere pittance of a price to be determined later, you will receive a certificate of authenticity proclaiming your charter membership in The Frivolous Flatulating Assholes of Matuca. Suitable for framing.

Ok, so whats the rub??

Alright Brothers, the Hewgag Braws one last time for this year. We will be going back to the El Dorado ranch, remember to bring your popups it can get sunny and hot. I want to thank my Board of Officers for all of their help this year. I couldn;t have gotten any of it done without you all. Most of all I want to thank my Red Shirt Nation. It truly has been an honor to be your Humbug this year. So with all of that said, you are formally requested to grab your clamping supplies and head to the ranch, where we can have one last ride that just might end up a train wreck.

Summer Dedication & Doin's - June 1, 2, 3

posted Apr 11, 2018, 7:50 AM by ECV Matuca   [ updated Apr 11, 2018, 7:50 AM ]

Alright boys, it's time for our Summer Doin's. And yes, for those of you living under a rock, the rumors are true. This will be a dual skin doins with our brothers from Estanislao Chapter 58. For those of you who don't know, MATUCA sponsered Chapter 58 and this year marks the 60th anniversary of the most satisfactory event. So let's grab your clamping supplies and meet up at Westside property in Tuolumne as we will be dedicating the Carter Cemetery. The usual do's and do not's will apply as always. Hope to see all the brothers there, as this is sure to be an event to remember. Heck, I bet it's gonna be a "train wreck"!!

The hewgag has sounded boys, so let's load up the wagons and meet at Mayrock.
Heck, some of you may even come up the Old Highway in Mariposa, which we
will be dedicating as it turns 100 years old. This will be an overnighter, so bring
your brothers and your PBCs. But let's go ahead and leave the bad attitudes, long knives, guns and all the
other usual no no's at home. Along with your fire pits, as there will be NO FIRES.
Hope to see you all there. What say the brethren??
